7 November 2022
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), of which New Zealand is part of, updated its list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring (known as the “grey list”) on 21 October 2022. The additional country on the list is Mozambique, while Pakistan and Nicaragua have come off the list and so are no longer subject to FATF’s increased monitoring process. The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Iran remain on the FATF list of High Risk jurisdictions and are subject to a Call for Action.
