In 2003, Australia’s index was 0.83, and New Zealand’s was 0.72. In 2005, the index peaked for both countries, at 0.87 and 0.80 respectively. In 2010, the index dropped to a low of 0.79 for Australia and 0.73 for New Zealand. The gap between the countries closed in 2012, with both countries’ index at approximately 0.84.
