Pasifika Expo a first for Northland

Talofa lava, kia orana, malo e lelei, fakalofa lahi atu, ni sa bula, mahalo, ia orana, kia ora and warm pacific greetings.

The first Tai Tokerau Pasifika Expo is being held in Whangarei this month.

The Expo will unite Pasifika people working in Government and community agencies, with more than 20 stalls planned to provide information and resources on Pacific development services.

Northland’s Pacific community makes up 2.5% of the region’s total population, and this event is an excellent opportunity for networking and information sharing.

Pasifika crafts and food will also be available, and a free bus has been organized for people traveling to the Expo from Te Kao.
